We have witnessed the best bending to the influence of riches many a time, and a burning example is the latest edition of the Mercedes Benz G55 AMG. Commissioned by the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi, the German tuning firm, ART, has designed a one-off Mercedes Benz G55 AMG to escort the convoy of Prince Sheikh Sultan Bin Rashed Al Nahyan. Called the “AS55K Yaas Edition,” the new version generates power from an enhanced 5.5-liter V8 engine capable of delivering 620hp, up from 354hp. Featuring an improved brake system with 8-piston calipers up front and 4-piston brake calipers at the rear, the AS55K Yaas Edition includes 22-inch polished alloys enclosed by high-performance wheels and 12 projector lamps, together with four xenon upper-beam headlights and eight fog lamps, to illuminate the desert roads at night.
Moreover, the luxury vehicle flaunts a bodykit with many carbon-fibre components, polished stainless steel bars and chrome-plated tailpipes, while the interior is decorated with cinnamon-coloured leather, Alcantara and carbon fibre components. The manufacturer hasn’t revealed the cost yet, but you may well presume a princely price tag for the one-off vehicle.
