While it may be a bit too early to declare it a new cycling revolution, Trek’s District Carbon Bike sans the chain but a belt drive, points to the early signs of a new generation market of pedals. As the new technology always fall in the high-end realm of the market, it was expected the same with the Trek’s new innovation, that comes at a whopping cost of $3,360.
So, while budget may be one of the issues that could take up the slack, not to forget that innovations obey the law of natural growth.
