Billy Butlin had a vision for an all-inclusive holiday for a family, which seems to been forgotten until the Butlins launched its seven-story, 200-room “Ocean Hotel” at the existing Butlins resort in Bognor Regis, West Sussex. Featuring lifts with disco music and special effect lighting and under-bed lighting for children, the luxury resort touts a 670-square meter spa that integrates a snow cave with artificial snow forms as well. The £20m hotel also presents special relaxation pods and treatment rooms with lasers, together with a “tummypod” - a special soft belt device that plays classical music to unborn babies, for the would-be moms. If you are a hip-hop party lover, the hotel presents interactive “disco” singing showers. The Ocean Hotel charges a four-night mid-week holiday for a four member family, including breakfast, between £366 and £800, while a week long break costs about £1,440.
